The 3rd National Conference on Education Reforms is here. The conference offers a coordinated space for conversations, collaborations and engagement. It invites us to share, reflect and shape the education we want in Kenya. We are, therefore, immensely grateful to those who will make the time to join in the deliberations.
We hope that the conference will result in more shared understanding on the Competency Based Curriculum. We hope it will open the space so that each can see the role they will play. Finally, we hope that the conference can offer the opportunity to proactively seek more inclusion. We must, as a priority, expand inclusion, use evidence of what works and what doesn’t to guide decision-making; and purposefully seek an education that champions ‘learning for all’.
